First tests will be verifications of pressure and flow completed at the Hydropower Laboratory at Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), who are world-leading on pumps and turbines.
Our turbopump for launch vehicles is smaller than water pumps and turbins, but the theory is the same. The testing will be done with help from our mentor professor Ole Gunnar Dalhaug, and master thesis candidates at NTNU. Specificially, we will focus on running a test with the oxidizer pump. This will be the first important showcase for the international space industry, proving our electric turbopump works as promised.
Second major lab-test will be verification with cryogenic medium (liquid oxidizer) with help from Copenhagen Suborbital and SINTEF (research institution).
